JENNY HYANG LEE

Owner and Creative Director

I began planning retreats—environments where paying attention to people wasn’t optional. Understanding how guests moved through a space, what helped them feel comfortable, and how to support both the host and the experience itself became central to the way I work.

Over time, that perspective expanded into private events, dining experiences, and brand gatherings. My work focuses not only on how an event looks, but how it feels to be inside of it—from pacing and atmosphere to the details guests remember afterward.

Time spent working alongside farmers and regenerative land shaped my understanding of rhythm, restraint, and seasonality. That influence still carries through my work today, though my approach is not tied to one setting or aesthetic.

Hyang (pronounced Hyoung) is a Korean name associated with fragrance, presence, and a quiet connection to nature.

BENJAMIN FISHER

Lead Designer & Builder

Ben brings over two decades of hands-on craft and spatial design to Hyang Lee Studio. Raised on a farm, he has a deep, lived understanding of land, materials, and how space shapes the way people move, gather, and connect.

His background spans farming, landscaping, art, and carpentry — a rare combination that allows him to move seamlessly between vision and execution. From living environments to custom structures and installations, his work brings form, function, and feeling into alignment.

His approach is deliberate. Ben builds with an awareness of impact, prioritizing durable materials, thoughtful sourcing, and low-toxicity methods whenever possible, while working within the realities of scale.

At Hyang Lee Studio, he leads spatial concepts, installation design, material direction, and the build process from idea to final experience, translating creative vision into something physical, grounded, and alive.
